I have been spending my intellectual life studying how the way we think takes shape in human language. Particular areas of focus in my research are implicature,scalar seasoning,metaphor, metonymy, counterfactual thought,polarity items,indefinite pronouns,mental space mapping,conceptual integration, conditionals, questions, negation, modulation of illocutionary force,information game.
