The corpus research team led by Professor Hu Kaibao at ICSA of Shanghai International Studies University actively carries out corpus related research and promotes academic exchanges in the field of corpus research and applications. Since its first summer workshop in 2012, corpus research and applications training and other related activities have won good social response.

To continue to promote the applications of corpus in foreign language teaching and research and other related fields and strengthen academic exchanges in this field, the Institute of Corpus Studies and Applications of Shanghai International Studies University plans to hold a series of schools on corpus construction and applications in January and July every year, in the form of online training.

Winter Schools (in February) are for corpus construction, corpus applications and corpus-based foreign language teaching.

Summer schools (in July) are for corpus-based translation studies, and corpus-based foreign language teaching.
