On December 12, the Institute of Corpus Studies and Applications of Shanghai International Studies University and the Minhaj University Lahore in Pakistan had an online discussion on the establishment of corpus center in Minhaj University Lahore and related cooperation matters between the two parties.Participants from two sides included Prof. Hu Kaibao, Dean of the Institute of Corpus Studies and Applications, Prof. Han Ziman, Vice Dean, Prof. Geng Qiang, Assistant Dean, Muhammad Afzaal, Foreign Expert and also Prof. Khurram Shahzad and Prof. Waqasia Naeem from Minhaj University Lahore.At the beginning of the meeting, the two sides made a brief introduction to their participants and took a group photo. Prof. Hu Kaibao and Prof. Khurram Shahzad each introduced the basic situation of the Institute and the university.Afterwards, participants from both parties had pleasant exchanges on topics such as the establishment of a corpus center, student and faculty exchange programs, doctoral recruitment and joint master-doctorate training, workshops, academic training, cooperative research and so on.
